- ISO22000 – We were the second food company in Africa to attain the ISO22000 food safety management systems certification
- Utz Kapeh – We are the first Coffee roaster in Africa to be Utz Kapeh certified
- FLO Fairtrade – We are the first coffee trader in Kenya to be certified by FLO Fairtrade
- HACCP – We are the first coffee roaster in Kenya to be HACCP certified.
These certifications have been the prerequisite to achieving our corporate mission.
We would like to ensure we offer our customers quality products that are convenient and safe for their utilization hence the investment in the latest packing and roasting technology.
Our experienced team of coffee liquorers tastes approximately 1500 cups of coffee a week and only the finest coffee is selected for our customers to enjoy. The coffee is specially blended to bring out all the characteristics that give Kenyan coffee its worldwide reputation for outstanding quality and flavour. All our green coffees are carefully processed prior to roasting.
Recognizing and Rewarding Excellence
We are committed to supporting Kenyan coffee farmers who take enormous care in the growing and processing of coffee. Sustainability and ethical sourcing is a key element of our buying policy. Annual prizes are awarded to farmers and
co-operatives in recognition of excellence.
Training
Rigorous training of our staff and the end users who finally use our products is very important to us. This is useful for our staff will be able to properly handle the product and the end users will be able to use it correctly which in the end helps in promoting a coffee drinking culture in Kenya
